Integrations: Google Sheets, n8n, Zapier, Make
Ready-made connectors for the tools businesses already use. Each one needs an API key (create a separate key per tool so you can revoke it on its own) and, to react to WhatsApp events, a webhook. In the dashboard, Integrations has the files and these steps.
Google Sheets (two-way)
An Apps Script that runs inside your spreadsheet and talks only to the ChatKomodo API.
- Download ChatKomodo.gs. In the spreadsheet open Extensions → Apps Script, replace the code with it, save and reload the sheet.
- Menu ChatKomodo → Set up…: paste the API key and pick the sending device. The sheets Send, Inbox, Contacts and Leads are created.
- Sheet → WhatsApp: fill rows in Send (Phone, Message, optional Media URL), then Send pending rows, or let it send every 5 minutes. Status, time, message ID and errors are written back. Sync contacts adds the Contacts sheet to your phone book (
POST /v1/contacts). - WhatsApp → Sheet: Deploy → New deployment → Web app (execute as me, access anyone), then Connect webhook. Incoming messages land in Inbox, delivery status updates the Send row, lead and label changes land in Leads. The web app address carries a random token that the script checks.
Google answers a web app with a redirect; ChatKomodo counts that as delivered for script.google.com addresses, so the webhook is not retried or paused.
n8n
Templates (any n8n): import a workflow (Workflows → Import from file), add a Header Auth credential named ChatKomodo API with header Authorization and value Bearer YOUR_API_KEY, and set your device ID.
ChatKomodo node (self-hosted n8n): a node to send messages and files and manage contacts, and a trigger that registers its own webhook and checks the signature. Install it in ~/.n8n/nodes and restart n8n:
npm install https://chatkomodo.com/files/integrations/n8n-nodes-chatkomodo-0.1.0.tgzZapier and Make
Until the official apps are listed, use their webhook tools:
- Trigger: create a Catch Hook (Webhooks by Zapier) or a Custom webhook (Make) and add its URL as a webhook with the events you want (
POST /v1/webhooks;GET /v1/webhooks/eventslists them with sample payloads, so the tool can learn the fields). - Action: Webhooks by Zapier → Custom Request or Make's HTTP → Make a request, method
POST, headerAuthorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY, toPOST /v1/sessions/{sessionId}/messages:
POST https://api.chatkomodo.com/v1/sessions/YOUR_DEVICE_ID/messages
Content-Type: application/json

Shopify and WooCommerce order, payment, shipping and abandoned-cart messages are built into the dashboard (Store notifications), no connector needed.
